I try to not blast my blog and Facebook page with pictures of my own grandchildren.  However so that you can get to know me and our Giddy Grandma  Board members a little better, we will post a few.  I wanted to share with you pictures of my grandkids.  I didn’t go all out with a big party or gifts this holiday.  I simply gave them a tall, shamrock drink bottle and some glow-in-the-dark shamrock glasses.  They seemed excited and carried them around a day or two.  It only takes…

St Patty’s Day Green Dinner

Here is a great tradition from Sandra Jensen,  Giddy Grandma’s Board Member. “We always have a green dinner for St. Patrick’s Day. Our menu varies each year. This year we are having BBQ chicken (not green), green beans, green grapes, green gelatin cut into shamrocks, green homemade rolls, and green key lime sugar cookies. The leprechaun leaves chocolate gold coins for the grandchildren to find.” What a fun way to celebrate!
